Hi, I’m Divya.
I’m a results-driven data analyst with a Ph.D. in Chemistry, and I’ve spent the last nine years moving between the lab, the classroom and the dashboard. That mix is the whole point of this site: rigorous science, explained plainly, presented visually.
Today I work as a Senior Science Content & Data Specialist, where I analyse large datasets, build training data for classifiers, optimise content for search, and translate raw numbers into decisions. Before that I taught chemistry as an assistant professor and worked as a subject-matter expert.
Ease My Chemistry is where those worlds meet — simplified concepts, an interactive periodic table, and short stories about the chemistry of everyday life. All free, because knowledge shouldn’t be bound by cost.

Online Retail Sales Analysis
Extracted insights from customer purchase history using RFM scoring and segmented customers to support targeted marketing.
Walmart Sales Forecasting
Analysed weekly sales against factors like unemployment and CPI, then built an exponential-smoothing model to forecast sales.
Movie Recommender System
Recommendation engine using cosine similarity on Kaggle’s Movies Dataset, suggesting titles from preferences and watch history.
Formation Energy Prediction
Predicted thermodynamic stability and formation energy of crystal systems with PyCaret, analysing feature importance across datasets.
